THE CHARTERED INSURANCE INSITUTE – AWARD CELEBRATIONS AT SIR CHRISTOPHER WRENS’S RIVERSIDE MASTERPIECE

Awards Dinner

THE EVENT

The Chartered Insurance Institute enlisted the help of Fisher Productions for their Awards Dinner in the spectacular, newly refurbished, Old Royal Naval College.

After a two-year conservation project, Fisher has been the first production company to be invited back into the venue for an event of this scale.

The 270 guests began their evening with a drinks reception in the Queen Mary Undercroft, where Fisher provided a carpeted entranceway, atmospheric and branded lighting and AV for table plans.  After, guests were led down the intimately lit walkway, congratulated by flower-filled concaves along the way from Karen Woolven Flowers.

A Candlelit staircase, bordered with more blooms, led to the awards dinner in the breath-taking painted hall. Guests were stunned by the cascading English Baroque, ceilings and walls, beautifully highlighted by Fisher Lighting complete with a 7.5m high, bespoke stage set that stood majestically in the Upper Hall and provided the perfect backdrop for speakers. Fisher AV provided multiple video relay screens and high-quality sound through the hall.

Guests were entertained throughout the evening by the ACM Gospel Choir who filled the grand space with memorable and moving performances. The purpose-built set seamlessly disappeared when the choir hit their captivating last note to reveal the illuminated, Thornhill painted, West Wall and led guests into the Upper Painted Hall for after dinner drinks with celebrations continuing into the night.
